This past week has been a crazy one for baby Bird and I! We returned from Boston last Sunday and had a painter start working in our home on Monday to paint the hallway that runs through all 3 floors. The "plan" was to stay with my parents for the week, but they both came down with the stomach flu so Uncle M was nice enough to have us crash at his pad for 2 days! We also drove up to big Bird's grandparents house in NJ and had a nice visit with Grandma, Oma, and Opa.
This past weekend we celebrated Christmas with my family...we busted out our family Christmas PJs a little early and had a blast! The cousins matched in their candy cane stripes and enjoyed playing with wrapping paper and their new gifts. Big Bird enjoyed a treasure hunt and found several power tools and I'm honing my barista skills with the milk frother my parents gave me.
Christmas is coming and we are looking forward to more good food and celebrating this week! Hope you are enjoying the last few days before Christmas!
