I can't believe all the fun we had this weekend! We got to see so many fun people...here's the illustrated play by play!
Friday
Our friends M and E drove up with baby A for a quick visit. We spent the afternoon exploring the birthplace of DuPont in the US, Hagley Museum. It was a brisk afternoon, but we got to see lovely Christmas decor and we had 2 different tours all to ourselves (which is great when you have 2 babies that should be napping rather than exploring).
The parents had a blast Friday night catching up and playing Wii.

| All baby Bird does these days is crawl around the family room from one toy to another! |
Saturday Afternoon:
 |
| Aunt G and Uncle D came down from the big city for lunch and an afternoon visit |
Saturday Evening:
 |
The S family from down the street came over for dinner and baby Bird loves playing with their 2 daughters who even babysat for him for a little bit while the adults went to a get together down the street for dessert.
Sunday: We hosted my family for family dinner and we filled up a whole pew at our new church and to enjoy the Christmas handbell/choir/orchestra concert. Cousin A and baby Bird enjoyed the music and at times were moved to shouts of joy...they had fun making their way down the available laps so they could stay entertained. |

It is such a joy to have friends and family in our new home now that it's not a construction zone! This week baby Bird is working on his crawling skills all over the house, big Bird is working on plumbing and organizing our basement, and I'm beginning my Christmas baking, wrapping gifts, and making lists of the shopping baby Bird and I have left to do! Hope your December is off to a rip roaring start like ours is!
